XING Events has high standards when it comes to constantly providing their customers with innovative solutions and insights in groundbreaking new event technologies. According to the N.1 marketplace for business events, “Virtual Events are one of the most important trends in the event industry and will have a lasting effect on it within the next years."

VR is a great medium to generate attention and to provide new solutions for clients, even more if such solutions can be easily implemented and distributed.

An extremely efficient and uncomplicated start with VR is exactly what VRdirect offers – one reason why Xing Events likes to recommend the platform to their network. As part of their new partnership, XING Events and VRdirect will continue to inform the event industry about the great opportunities that come with Virtual Reality.

As an example of the great portfolio they offer to their network, XING Events has just published the whitepaper “The future of event technology”, among others also featuring Virtual Reality as pioneering technology for events.

As a part of the XING SE, the social network for professionals, XING Events connects more than 15 million members with suitable business events. For over ten years, their event management software has been enabling quick and safe ticket purchases and a smooth entry to events.

With its leading ticketing system, XING Events closes the gap between the online and offline world
and provides innovative solutions for fairs, events, conferences and organizers.

Just one example is the
VexCon: the Virtual Expo and Conference, organized by XING Events which took place in 2018. The Expo showed insights of modern event technology and digital event marketing. Among others VRdirect was also part of it with a virtual booth to showcase the VRdirect platform.

Virtual Reality and its advantages for the event industry

Virtual Reality is perfect for events since it takes your experience to another level. By giving the user an emotional insight, they can experience the atmosphere in a mesmerizing way which is more convincing than just images or videos. And unlike with video streams, Virtual Reality allows the users to interact with their surrounding and to be fully immersed in the experience.

A virtual version of the event increases its potential audience and
it allows guests not physically being there, but to attend at a virtual booth.

The extension of events
through the use of VR technology is also interesting for exhibitors whose product range is very large or whose products are too big to take them to an exhibition.

The case we produced last year with our partner DMEXCO is a perfect example for the advantage of Virtual Reality in the event industry.

The same applies to the Arena Summit 2018, where VRdirect created an interactive 360°/ VR walk-through immediately after the event. It shows perfectly how you can use VR for events.

Within our partnership we are really looking forward to keeping the XING Events customers up to date about Virtual RealityIf you are interested in using Virtual Reality for your event, please don't hesitate and schedule a call with our experts.
